3D Scanning

We capture physical geometry and turn it into usable digital files. Our structured light scanner delivers 0.2mm resolution — accurate enough for reverse engineering, fitment verification, and quality inspection.

When you need scanning

• A part exists but the CAD doesn’t (or never did)
• You need to verify a manufactured part against the original design
• You’re modifying an existing product and need the current geometry
• Legacy parts need to be reproduced and no drawings exist

What you get

Depending on your needs, we deliver:

• Mesh files (STL, OBJ) — ready for 3D printing or visualization
• Parametric CAD (STEP, IGES) — for modification and manufacturing (via our reverse engineering service)
• Inspection reports — deviation analysis against reference CAD

Process

Ship us the part or bring it in. We scan it, clean up the data, and deliver files in your preferred format. Most single-part scans are complete within 1-3 business days.
