Decide what the prototype needs to tell you
A visual model, a fit check and a functional trial need different materials, processes and review criteria. Before fabricating, define the decision the prototype should support and what it will not establish.
For example, a shape model can help review proportions without demonstrating how the final product behaves under heat, repeated loading or outdoor exposure. Those questions need their own plan.
Design, fabricate, review, revise
Prototype coordination can include CAD preparation, discussion of materials and fabrication methods, review of supplier requirements and revisions after feedback. Limited direct prototype work or third-party fabrication may be included when appropriate to the scope.
There is no automatic production commitment or guaranteed rush turnaround. Fabrication, availability, shipping and review stages are agreed for each project.
